Ik werk als programmeur bij de Belgische Marine in de Belgisch-Nederlandse Mijnenbestrijdingsschool te Oostende ( http://www.eguermin.org ). Ik ontwikkel er software voor de tactische mijnenbestrijdingssimulator (nen moderne wargame dus).

Mijn moedertaal is het Frans, daar mijn moeder een 'Française' is. Het leuke aan dat is dat voor mij het Nederlands feitelijk een vreemde taal is. Op school had ik er vroeger wel veel last mee, temeer dat op school enkel Westvlaams gesproken werd tussen de leerlingen.
Om het Nederlands onder de knie te krijgen heb ik toen veel verhalen geschreven, maar ben daar zo'n dertig jaar geleden mee gestopt. Tja, een mens wordt snel ouder hoor.

Ik heb in 2003, na mijn transplantatie, mijn pen, euh klavier, van onder het stof gehaald, en ben terug gaan schrijven. Per toeval op Dirk's zijn chef-d'oeuvre terecht gekomen, en wat doen twee webmasters als ze elkaar tegenkomen? Praten over webdingtjes.

Mei 2006 : Gedurende twee jaar is al mijn tijd gegaan naar mijn nierpatiënten vereniging waardoor ik jammer genoeg deze prechtige site niet meer bezocht heb, laat staan dat ik hier nog brouwsels neergepoot heb. Out of sight, but not out of mind ....
